Craikey, what to have for supper?
(June 10th, 2011)

With my baby now a week late, my energy levels for cooking are slightly depleted.  Thoughts of making pork pies, slow-cooked joints and exciting puddings are far from my mind.  Now all I want to do is eat something delicious, fast and easy.  So I thought I'd do a mini-series of recipes with this just in mind.  Hopefully you'll find them blissfully simple and tasty too!

Baked seabass with wild fennel
(May 29th, 2011)

I have so much wild fennel sprouting up in the garden I had to cook with it...

Pineapple, tomato & rocket toasts
(May 9th, 2011)

With rocket growing avidly in the garden, making this was the perfect start to a great dinner on Saturday night....

Chorizo and red pepper salad
(March 4th, 2011)

Eating at home, especially during the week when I am working at home, has to be about things you can whip together in a flash but obviously they need to taste good to, or what's the point of the afternoon?

Standon Calling
(February 1st, 2011)

Last weekend I went to my third Standon Calling.

I missed it last year as was knee-deep in recipe testing for Mexican Food Made Simple and can remmber the feeling of frustration as I cooked and ate, and as my friends all danced the night away.

Cooking at the Dock
(August 14th, 2010)

Guiting Festival I

Fishing in Baja California
